HEALTH MEASURES & UPDATES
This page is the best way to stay informed about the changes to our scheduling, updates, and the latest steps we are taking to stay ministering to one another
Since the pandemic began, our Pastor, Shepherd Leaders, Staff, and Ministry Leaders have all been in regular prayer and meetings to seek the Lord's leading on the next steps and phases for our church. Our leaders' goal is to always make decisions that greatly glorify Jesus Christ and best shepherd the sheep Christ has put in their care with wisdom, passion, and sacrificial love. All of our decisions are being made with great amounts of prayer, discussion, and careful analysis as we seek to find the best ways to proactively and safely minister to everyone in the Body.
At this time, as always, be reminded that the Lord is our strength and shield and that the amazing God who made the universe and knows you by name is still in control of all things. We should proceed with caution in wisdom and not be overcome by anxiety or fear. Let us all the more turn to our Savior Jesus Christ in prayer, rely even more on His Scripture, and trust in His loving mercy and care.
HOW WE ARE GATHERING
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in following these current guidelines
With the goal of keeping us together in person as much as possible, we are taking a multi-faceted strategy in an effort to mitigate the communal spread of COVID-19. Our great desire in all things is to glorify Jesus and stay ministering to one another.
Masks are now optional in the building (started 6/13/21).
You are very welcome to continue to wear a face covering if you desire.
We will continue to love and respect each other - you are not better or worse than your brothers and sisters for wearing or not wearing a mask at this time.
Please make effort to understand and respect others' boundaries for distance and contact. It's always a good idea to ask first before shaking hands, hugging, etc. You always have the right to ask people to respect your personal space - this does not make you faithless or unloving.
Our seating has added spacing in both the Sanctuary and Café.
You are always welcome to worship in the Café which is less crowded.
Bathrooms, doors, and sanctuary surfaces are cleaned throughout the service. Our facilities have been upgraded to touchless towel, soap, sinks, lights, and hand sanitizer dispensers and are cleaned twice during the week.
PLEASE WASH HANDS REGULARLY AND COVER your face when coughing and sneezing.
If you are feeling sick or have any symptoms we encourage you to stay home and worship with us via live stream or our local TV replays.
We will quickly notify you and adjust our worship as necessary in case of any exposure to Covid-19 at Grace River.
We will continue to be in prayer and discussion as we monitor our body and wider community and make adjustments as the Lord leads.
If worshiping at home, you can always send in your prayers.
We always stream our 1030am service so that we can stay worshiping together. If you are feeling ill or just cannot be with us please worship with us online.
You can also worship with us on TV.
